Team Leader Maintenance - Packaging Operations

As Team Leader Maintenance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our packaging lines-where dry blending and canning come together to form the final product. You'll lead a skilled team and collaborate across departments to maintain high operational standards and deliver excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of General Maintenance and Instrumentation & Control Technicians, along with maintenance planners.
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities on packaging lines, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
- Act as a visible leader on the shop floor, driving performance and supporting your team.
- Collaborate with reliability experts to enhance equipment uptime and optimize maintenance strategies.
- Review maintenance orders and generate periodic KPI reports.
- Champion a strong safety culture and act as a safety ambassador.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through reliable and responsive service.
- Continuously improve departmental processes, procedures, and work instructions.
- Conduct performance reviews and support team development through training and coaching.
- Build strong relationships with Operations, acting as their technical counterpart and providing hands-on support.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree (HBO) or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Technical Business Administration.
- Proven leadership experience in a maintenance environment, ideally within Food or Pharma sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical/electrical installations and process automation.
- Familiarity with ISO, GMP, HACCP, and EHS guidelines.
- Flexible and available outside regular hours to support a 24/7 operation.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Proactive, hands-on, and results-oriented.
- Skilled in motivating and developing team members.
