Responsibilities / Tasks

As Automation Engineer- Technical Service Support you will be the link between the internal and external customers for automation related refrigeration & heat pump solutions at TCPC Grasso Den Bosch.

Your mission? Ensure & secure customer installation & automation performance at the best level for clients worldwide.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Contribute as an active member of the Technical Support Team on a daily basis.

  • Provide expertise on automation and control system challenges in GEA OMNI systems and customer systems (e.g., SCADA, PLC).

  • Support warranty processes using automation and HRT system expertise.

  • Prepare and deliver functional and technical designs for automation-related operational functionality.

  • Contribute to the development of training content for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Initiate and support back-office troubleshooting activities, with a focus on continuous improvement of control systems.

  • Collaborate with colleagues in Den Bosch and TSS Berlin to ensure quality-related issues are addressed and resolved effectively.

  • Collaborate with other factory departments in Den Bosch & TSS in Berlin to ensure quality items are addressed correctly and follow up.

  • Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent through proven experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial refrigeration; heat pump experience is considered an advantage.

  • Strong hands-on mindset with a customer-oriented and solution-driven approach.

  • Demonstrated ability in problem analysis and troubleshooting.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Fluent in Dutch and English (oral and written); proficiency in German and/or Spanish is an advantage.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally (short-term assignments only).

  • Motivated, curious, and eager to learn new technologies.
