Our client is one of the oldest
shipbuilders in the Dutch river region, engineering and
constructing vessels up to approximately 240 meters in length. A
key priority is investing in technological innovations, with a
strong emphasis on implementing cleaner technologies to reduce
emissions. Within this position your main tasks
are: 

  • Developing and
    testing PLC and SCADA software for monitoring,
    processing, measurement, and control of dredging
    components.
  • Working closely with project teams
    under the guidance of a Project Manager and Lead
    Engineer.
  • Ensuring proper system integration
    and troubleshooting potential automation
    issues.
  • Reading and
    interpreting electrical schematics to support system
    implementation.
  • Collaborating with various
    stakeholders to optimize process
    automation.

Functie-eisen />
  • A technical MBO degree with at
    least 3 years of relevant work experience or Bachelor with 1 -
    2 years of experience
  • Affinity
    with control technology, automation, and process
    control.
  • Basic knowledge of PLC
    programming and experience with at least one SCADA
    system.
  • The ability to read and interpret
    electrical diagrams.
  • Interest in working
    within project teams and contributing to team
    success.
  • Good communication
    skills.
  • English proficiency is required,
    and basic knowledge of Dutch is
    preferred.
  • Only candidates with a valid EU
    work visa will be considered.

  • A gross monthly salary (2025)
    between €3,438 and €4,522 + 8% holiday allowance (based on a
    full-time contract).
