The company is starting to work with a new machine specifically for powder-coating, controlled by a PLC. The goal is to deliver a system to regulate the communication between the companys ERP system and the powder-coating machine. The system will have to make instructions for the machine in PROFINET by obtaining orders from the ERP system. Besides that, the system will also have to keep track of the progress of an order and return that information to the ERP system.
