Responsibilities: • Quality Engineer will be responsible for investigating, analyzing and pursuing corrective & preventive actions for Landing gear products & system quality problems. • Candidate responsible for providing moderately complex statistical information for quality improvement by determining and applying testing/inspection methods and criteria. • Candidate coordinates and guides technical evaluations, analysis, and related data acquisition processes to ensure division quality objectives are achieved. • Candidate should be agile and quickly adapt to other duties as required and requested by the Manager, management and customer. • Quality Engineer will drive supplier quality management activities in line with client’s control procedures, and relevant regulatory standards, i.e. AS9100 • Liaison between Receiving/Inspection team and Supplier Quality team relating to supplier’s non-conformance, supplier’s quality performance, trends and corrective actions. • Assures the timely processing of nonconforming materials and assists in the disposition process by participating in failure analysis and corrective action investigations as a member of the Material Review Board (MRB). • Drive prioritized supplier nonconformance management and root cause analysis. • Prepares reports and presentation by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing supplier data and making recommendations. • Ensures that nonconforming material is dispositioned in a timely manner. • Coordinates with Supplier Quality team on all initiatives relating to supplier quality performance. • Tracks supplier performance trends and performs quality trend analysis from supplier base and facilitates corrective actions as appropriate. • Must be able to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy. • Responsible for leading respective teams and validating the Quality process and reports. Requirements: • High School diploma or bachelor’s degree 3 to 6 years of manufacturing experience will be considered. • Read and understand the Aerospace components Engineering and Stage drawings. • Must have working knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Access & Excel. • Excellent reporting and writing skills. • You speak and write English well. Dutch is also important.
