We are Looking for an experienced Cloud Services Engineer to join our cloud operation team. You will be responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing our cloud environments to ensure the high availability, performance, and reliability of our services.
This role requires a strong Linux background, hands-on experience with AWS,
OpenStack, and various cloud and automation tools. You will collaborate closely with development teams and play a key role in maintaining a secure and scalable
infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support cloud infrastructure across AWS and OpenStack
  • environments.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-based systems.
  • Manage and optimize load balancers/webservers/applications servers for
  • performance and redundancy.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring solutions.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for availability and incident response.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and
  • deployments.
  • Conduct and support security audits; assess and follow up on vulnerability
  • reports.
  • Manage and renew (SSL) certificates and other critical system components.
  • Maintain contact with external vendors and service providers.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and continuously improve your skills.
  • Communicate effectively in both Dutch and English.

    • Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-availability
    environment
  • Proven experience with AWS and/or OpenStack platforms.
  • Strong Linux system administration skills.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and version control (GitHub (GHA), Octopus
    deploy, Atlassian suite, Terraform, Ansible).
  • Experience with system and network security, vulnerability management.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work independently and in a team.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and deployment automation.
