WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Within Mammoet, we have already taken big steps towards a more sustainable equipment fleet that goes to our clients to execute projects. One of those steps is the electrification of our equipment, such as trailers and cranes.
We would like to set out a challenge to reduce the noise of our hydraulic/electric machines even further. Your internship aims to come up with feasible solutions to reduce the noise generated by hydraulic pumps in our electric equipment. Duing your internship, you get the opportunity to go from concept to actual implementation.

In addition to this specific project, you will join the Sustainability department in their day to day work, which includes:
Improving in the operational experience with electric equipmentAssisting in research topics related to electrifying our fleetContributing in consumption calculationsMeeting with colleagues from the field who are users of this type of equipment to gather real-world experiences Managing stakeholders across the company Visiting projects to see the equipment in action
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Enrolled in a bachelor or master’s program in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management or a related technical studyEnglish, fluent proficiency verbal and written. Dutch language skills are a plusInterested in sustainability and innovation in heavy equipmentExperience with AutoCAD is a plusAbility to translate technical challenges into simple terminology and provide guidance/ direction on finding pragmatic solutionsWell organized, proactive and with an eye for detailExcellent communications skills and able to work in a multi-cultural environment.
