As the Lead Engineer, you are responsible for the
engineering aspects of the project. A significant part of the role
involves managing and supervising Interface and System Engineers
who, under your direction, will handle the detailed engineering
work.
The scope of the projects includes the
engineering, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of
power distribution systems such as medium and low voltage
switchgear, transformers, power distribution units, busbar systems,
digital protection, automation and monitoring systems, and modular
solutions like E-Houses and Skids.
Your role
involves maintaining an overview and ensuring the various designs
and disciplines are functionally aligned and delivered within the
agreed budget and schedule. The dynamic environment created by
short lead times and high customer requirements must be effectively
managed.
In addition to managing the engineering
team, you will have frequent contact with the client, providing
advice and ensuring coordination between the designs and
stakeholders, making you the technical point of contact. There will
be intensive collaboration with the Project Manager on every
project.
