Let’s buildthe winning team: join Simon-Kucher’s Dutch Transaction Services team as afounding member to build the winning proposition and team.

We have expanded our focus to also address the commercial duediligence requirements of our private equity and corporate clients, helpingthem invest in the right businesses, where they can create value for allstakeholders.

Simon-Kucherhas seen enormous success, quadrupling revenues in the past 10 years, and wehave huge ambitions for our Transaction Services business unit. We have alreadyrecruited a highly respected senior deals Partner to lead the team in TheNetherlands, starting in February, and we are building up the broader team inparallel.

This is achance to be in a very high-growth business, right from the start – to helpshape the business, grow the team and serve some of the best clients,addressing their most important questions. Whilstcommercial due diligence for Private Equity and Corporates will be the keyfocus of the team, we will work collaboratively with other parts of Simon-Kucher,and therefore you will have the opportunity to also work on non-dealengagements related to areas such as M&A strategy, market reviews, revenuegrowth, pricing, marketing efficiency and digital strategy.

In launchingthis new team we are now looking for Managers & Senior Managers tojoin our Amsterdam office.

The role and its impact:
  • Be a core pillar and founding member of the new Transaction Services team
  • Help shape and build the Transaction Services team, its market position and share in the responsibility for success of the team
  • Support leading mid and large-cap PE clients, as well as corporates, to invest in the right businesses
  • Managing workstreams or wider projects, and building the skills and capabilities of those in your team
  • Brainstorming, alongside the team, on the key deal hypotheses, and how to address these as part of the work
  • Carrying out analysis of market and competitor dynamics to provide assurance to our clients about market scale, growth and trends, and competitive positioning of different companies
  • Designing the approach to gaining customer insight, to understand customer behaviours and perceptions of different companies
  • Presenting both internally and to the client to support decision making
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients
  • Working on cross-border projects with other Simon-Kucher offices around the world
  • Broader engagement with the development of the team and market activities, business development, recruitment, marketing and in the early stages as we grow our work
What you bring:
  • 4+ years’ experience within consulting or in the strategy/M&A function of a corporate, with ample of experience of carrying out commercial due diligence engagements
  • Exceptional project management skills and experienceof building high performing teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills alongside experience in carrying out market and competitor analysis, assessment of company performance etc
  • A passion for commercial issues and value creation
  • Extremely articulate, with the ability to take complex ideas and make them simple and compelling
  • A strong desire to work in a fast paced commercially agile environment
  • Passion for building the winning Transaction Services team and delivering successful projects
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English
