Group Accountant

Dordrecht | Group Accountant | IFRS | NL GAAPOur client is a leading global manufacturer of thermoplastic products. Their product portfolio is the world’s most varied and includes amongst others, semi-finished plastics. For their office in Dordrecht, they are looking for a Group Accountant.Your Tasks:
  • Responsible contact for Finance Department
  • Active support of the CEO in finance issues
  • Ensuring that the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements are prepared in accordance with IFRS and Dutch accounting standards
  • Ensuring legal reporting in accordance with Dutch accounting standards
  • Preparation of monthly reporting in accordance with Group standards
  • Coordination and contact person for the local financial statements
  • Standardization of financial processes, based on the group standard and Dutch accounting standards
    • You must have:
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in accounting & controlling, preferably in the preparation of financial statements
  • Study in the field of business administration, finance, controlling or comparable qualification
  • Solid knowledge of accounting in accordance with IFRS and Dutch accounting standards
  • Experience of working in an international group
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Good understanding of business economics
  • Analytical minded, while at the same time you have practical insight
