The opportunity
Teva Europe is undergoing an ambitious transformation journey to build future-ready Centers of Excellence (CoE) that drive strategic impact, operational efficiency, and innovation. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to join our Strategy & Transformation team as Transformation & CoE Strategy Director. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping Teva’s European CoE roadmap, overseeing program execution, and embedding internal transformation capabilities.
How you’ll spend your day
1. Program Execution & Delivery Oversight
• Lead end-to-end program execution across transformation initiatives.
• Oversee vendor delivery, ensuring key milestones, budget governance, and contractual commitments are met.
• Manage risk identification, escalation, and mitigation planning.
• Provide regular progress reporting to leadership with insights and recommendations on priorities.
2. Strategic Roadmap Development
• Co-develop the multi-year CoE strategic roadmap in partnership with hub leads and the European Leadership Team.
• Define and evolve future CoE operating models, capabilities, and scope expansion opportunities.
• Align strategy with business priorities and long-term organizational goals.
3. Governance & Performance Management
• Lead governance forums (e.g., SteerCo, Leadership Team updates).
• Drive performance management processes, including KPI tracking, dashboarding, and benefit realization frameworks.
• Monitor and report on maturity and value creation throughout roll-out.
4. Capability Building & Knowledge Management
• Strengthen Teva’s internal transformation capabilities through playbooks, frameworks, and best practice sharing.
• Build change management capacity across teams to support sustainable transformation.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on CoE transformation.
Your experience and qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, or consulting roles, ideally within pharma, life sciences, or large-scale global organizations.
• Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional transformation programs.
• Strong experience in governance design, performance management, and vendor delivery oversight.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic roadmaps and translate them into executable plans.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior leadership levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in KPI/benefit tracking frameworks.
• Prior experience in building transformation playbooks or CoE models is an advantage.
• Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline.
• Excellent communicator, comfortable presenting to C-suite and governance forums.
• Collaborative leader able to engage across functions, geographies, and seniorities.
