Responsibilities
  • Automation Solutions: Assess, architect, and deploy automation solutions for IT environments.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Create and sustain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for smooth integration and deployment.
  • Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Powershell; familiarity with Python and batch scripting is advantageous.
  • Collaboration: Partner with IT teams to pinpoint automation opportunities and drive ongoing improvements.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to automation tools and workflows.
  • Documentation: Record and disseminate best practices to help other teams adopt and scale automation solutions effectively.
  • Continuous Learning: Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in automation and DevOps to suggest enhancements.

    • Requirements:
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Comprehensive IT Knowledge: Extensive understanding of Windows OS, virtualization, and Active Directory.
  • Powershell Expertise: Significant experience with Powershell.
  • Python Skills: Familiarity with Python is advantageous.
  • Automation Proficiency: Skilled in using automation tools like Ansible.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Experience: Proven track record in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably in GitLab.
  • Agile and DevOps Knowledge: Strong grasp of Agile principles and DevOps practices.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code: Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code tools and methodologies.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to proactively identify and resolve challenges.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Location: Based in the Netherlands, with the capability to travel to the Eindhoven.
  • Passion for Automation: Enthusiasm for driving operational excellence through automation.
