Your job

The overall challenge is to enhance our capabilities/services and increase their usage and coverage within the organization. You are an Identity and Access Expert and can steer the organization to have safe and easy services that comply with our standards. You are a functional leader and authority on the capability within your responsibility. As a leader with an analytical and innovative mindset, you will drive improvements in the ways of working within the I&A grid and advance the I&A Capability specifically. You will use your knowledge of complex IT environments combined with Identity and Access Management, IT audit, and banking channels to increase capability compliance and reduce Cyber Risk.

As a Capability Owner, you will have a strategic role in the I&A grid. You will ensure that you have a vision for the capability’s future and can translate that into a comprehensive roadmap for the development of products and services within your responsibility. Your experience as a Senior Product Owner in an agile environment will help you drive the teams forward. To meet these challenges, you stay up to date on the latest developments in Identity and Access Management, IT infrastructure, and/or online banking. Sharing your knowledge with colleagues and peers comes naturally to you.

Working environment


You will serve as the Capability Owner for the API Access Capability within ABN AMRO CISO’s Identity and Access Grid and be a member of the Workforce Enablement & Control team.
 
The Workforce Enablement & Control team plays a key role in transforming Identity & Access into a center of expertise. The objective is to establish a secure foundation for the one digital bank with fittest-for-purpose Identity & Access Management solutions. This team, which includes Product Owners, Capability Owners, Domain Experts, Functional Specialists, and Data Analysts, focuses on the functional aspects of Identity & Access. It collaborates with the Workforce IT delivery department to ensure that products and capabilities are technically robust (handled by the IT Delivery department) and meet functional requirements and expectations (handled by Workforce Enablement & Control) for the workforce.

Your profile


Must have hard skills for this job:

  • 8+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management and complex IT environments
  • Strong understanding of the various capabilities within IAM, including identity management, authentication, access & authorization, privileged access management
  • Knowledge of API protocols ( REST, SOAP, OAuth)
  • 3+ years of experience in functional leadership roles within an organisation (demonstrating authority in the field without formal hierarchical power)
  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior Product Owner with a proven track record in strategic role
  • Experience and good understanding of directives and legislation on for example DORA, AI Act
  • Must have soft skills:

  • Vision and strategic planning skills - Ability to develop a vision and translate it into an actionable roadmap for the future of the capability.
  • Relationship management skills - Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Pro-active with excellent communications skills.
  • Nice to haves:

  • Relevant certifications such as CISA and CISSP.
  • Good (security) knowledge of the main IT layers such as operating systems, network infrastructure, and database management systems.
  • Experience in creating policy standards and guidelines for IAM.
  • Knowledge of banking products and processes.
