Essential Job Duties

Responsible for managing, installing, maintaining, supporting and server backup of all Windows servers and domain controllers.

Responsible for managing, maintaining, supporting and backup/restore of Exchange 2003 servers and future upgrade to newer version.

Monitor servers and networks performance and proactively optimize their performance.

Work with other teams to promote changes to production and other environments

After-hour support of production systems as necessary.

Experience

End user support including pc operating systems, hardware, applications, mobile devices, and peripherals

Maintenance of desktop pcs, patches, updates, etc.

Participate in after hours on-call rotation

Monitor and maintain Microsoft Windows Servers and Active Directory

Backup System Engineer(s) as needed on any technical issues

Manage PC and phone setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images, and software.

Perform workstation hardware and software upgrades as required.

Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, and licenses.

Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory

Communication with EU and US admin teams on project planning and implementation.

Required Skills:

Certifications: A+, Network+ Certifications, MCP Preferred.

Software Requirements: Microsoft Windows desktop and Server Operating Systems, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office applications, Netbackup

Physical Ability: free lift 22+ kg regularly

Required Experience:

2-3 years experience supporting end users, installing, configuring and troubleshooting common PC and server hardware and peripherals

Microsoft Windows 8, 7, Windows XP, Microsoft Office applications

Anti-Virus software and Anti-Spyware tools.

Knowledge of network protocols, including TCP\IP, HTTP, FTP, DNS, WINS and DHCP.
