European Product Manager - Ultrasound

As European Product Manager at Canon Medical, you will play a pivotal role in driving product strategies, sales enablement, and market intelligence across our European network. You will be the link between market trends, clinical needs, and Canon HQ in Japan, ensuring that our product offerings meet the evolving demands of the healthcare environment. Your work supports both the Subsidiaries and Channel partner network to maximise commercial impact and maintain Canon’s leadership in medical imaging.




What will you do?

  • Collaborate with HQ Japan to align product strategy and specifications with European market needs.

  • Drive competitive analysis and strategic differentiation based on technical and commercial market intelligence.

  • Provides strategic direction on product positioning and value messaging to guide the creation of promotional materials.

  • Lead the European New Product Introduction (NPI) process, overseeing cross-functional planning.

  • Support Subsidiaries and Channel partner network by identifying and proposing product configurations or alternatives.

  • Develop sales tools and training materials with value proposition, competitive differentiation and argumentation techniques.

  • Gather structured feedback from sales teams and customers and use these insights to improve activities.

  • Leads cross-functional planning and coordination of product lifecycle milestones (launch, modifications, end-of-life).

  • Oversees product performance and service-related issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders and HQ Japan.

  • Streamline operation and administrative processes in collaboration with internal stakeholders.


    • What do you bring?

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in biomedical engineering, life sciences, business, or related fields.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, sales, key account management within the medical industry.

  • A solid understanding of medical imaging products including both technical specifications and clinical applications.

  • Demonstrated ability to assess and analyze markets in a data-driven and effective manner

  • Strong communication and documentation skills in English; other European languages are a plus.

  • A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and product support.

  • Willingness to travel across Europe as needed.

  • Ideally living in the Netherlands or willing to relocate.
