Job Summary
We seek a Roving Training Manager to join our global training team . You will tailor and deploy INSO training courses for aid workers in countries where INSO is not operating permanently.
Relying on your strong humanitarian culture, you will assess the capacity-building needs of national and international NGOs, design context-specific modules in team, deliver high-standard humanitarian safety and access management courses.
Key responsibilities
Training sessions for partners
Under the supervision of INSO Senior Training Manager and in collaboration with Regional Directors, you’ll contribute to identifying partners’ interests for course deployments. With the other Roving Training Manager, you will contextualize and tailor INSO courses to partners’ needs. Discussions with field-based humanitarian staff and partners will feed your understanding of each new context and guide training choices. With the support of the Project Officer, you will plan and organize their deployment. In coordination with Training and MEAL colleagues, you will lead the monitoring and evaluation of roving training activities. Global training projects
You will contribute to the development of a localisation training methodology. You will support global training initiatives in general, including new course design, and contributions to thematic working groups according to their specific interests or competencies. High level standards

As such you’ll have to enhance INSO’s reputation through professional attitude and services to partners. Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Fluency in English required, fluency in French and/ or Spanish also required. Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in the humanitarian sector. Significant experience in adult learning or civilian safety and security sector. Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in team and project management. Demonstrated understanding of NGO safety & security management, personal safety, humanitarian principles, practices, access, and negotiations. Work experience in conflict-affected environments. Well-developed networking and organisational skills.

Terms & Conditions:
12-month full-time fixed-term contract (renewable based on funding) based in The Hague, Netherlands. It is a Dutch contract based on the Dutch social security and taxation rules with a €5,500 per month gross salary + 8% vacation pay (vakantiegeld) and 2.5 days annual leave accrued per month. We provide Basic Premium ONVZ health insurance in the Netherlands and travel insurance when travelling for work. This position is eligible for a highly-skilled migrant visa. A relocation allowance is available.
