About the Role:
As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Rosewood Amsterdam, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences through the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service. You will lead by example, ensuring your team is motivated, well-trained, and aligned with our brand values of excellence, consistency, and care.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, support, and inspire housekeeping team members across guest rooms and public areas
Conduct thorough inspections to ensure rooms and facilities meet hotel standards and guest expectations
Coordinate daily schedules and assign tasks effectively for optimal productivity
Assist in onboarding, mentoring, and ongoing training of housekeeping staff
Monitor linen and supply usage, report inventory needs, and support cost-effective operations
Collaborate closely with Front Office and Maintenance teams to address guest needs swiftly and professionally
Uphold strict health and safety protocols and quality control standards
Qualifications & Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a supervisory housekeeping role, preferably within a 4- or 5-star hotel environment
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate a diverse team
Impeccable attention to detail and a proactive, service-oriented mindset
Strong communication and organizational skills
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Working knowledge of housekeeping systems (PMS, inventory tools) is an advantage
