/>At VDL VDS Technische Industrie, approximately 200
employees collaborate to manufacture components primarily for the
automotive sector. Our production includes parts such as windscreen
wiper arms and a wide range of car seat components. Moreover, many
of our products are also integrated into trucks and trailers,
serving functions both inside and around the cabin, as well as on
the chassis and trailer.
Functieomschrijving
/>The core responsibility of a Forklift Operator is to
ensure the safe and efficient internal transport and storage of
products, materials, and tools within the stamping
department.
Key tasks
include:
- Moving products, dies, and
materials such as coils and sheet
metal - Supplying machines with the necessary
packaging materials - Collecting and disposing of
scrap materials from the machines - Supporting
the setup and placement of dies on the
machines - Transporting finished products to the
strapping machine in the warehouse
Functie-eisen
/>- You have at least a secondary vocational
education (MBO) level of working and
thinking; - You have experience operating a
forklift and hold a valid forklift license; - You
are safety-conscious, as you will be driving mainly in a production
environment where people are also working; - You
have a strong focus on quality — many of the products are valuable,
large in size, and heavy. They must be transported and loaded with
care; - We work in two shifts: morning shift: Mon
– Thu 05:45 – 14:45, Fri 05:45 – 12:00 & afternoon shift: Mon –
Thu 14:45 – 23:45, Fri 12:00 – 18:15
