We’re looking for a

Identity & Access Management (IAM) Specialist (m/f/d)

to take ownership of our global identity and access management framework. You’ll ensure secure, compliant, and efficient access for over 4,000 employees and partners worldwide. This is a hands-on role that bridges IT, HR, business units, and compliance, all within a dynamic, multinational environment.

This is what you can expect


  • Design, implement, and maintain IAM systems and governance processes




  • Manage user lifecycle events - onboarding, changes, offboarding - with proper access controls




  • Automate identity provisioning through platforms like Active Directory, SAP, and Entra ID




  • Enforce and monitor access policies for cloud, on-prem, and hybrid systems




  • Conduct access reviews, recertifications, and compliance audits (GDPR, NIS2)




  • Support projects like role-based access design, privileged access management, and identity federation




  • Collaborate with global teams to meet local compliance requirements




  • Keep up with IAM best practices and security trends to strengthen Hero Group’s security posture


  • This is what you need to be successful in this role


  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or similar




  • Proven experience in IAM or IT security




  • Hands-on experience with tools like Active Directory, Entra ID, Thales Safenet, or similar




  • Knowledge of authentication protocols, e.g. SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP




  • Familiarity with regulations like GDPR and NIS2



  • Experience with SAP identity and access controls is a big plus


  • Analytical mindset and ability to work independently and in global teams



  • Business fluent in English
