As a Physical Designer Analog, you will be responsible for delivering fully verified physical designs that meet all technical requirements. You will work across the full physical design flow, including floorplanning, placement, routing, verification, and design finishing, using a Cadence design environment combined with the right tool and process knowledge. Operating in an international team of experienced designers, you will contribute to a wide range of applications and technologies and ensure high-quality designs from start to tape-out.


What will you do?

  • Perform physical design activities such as floorplanning, placement, (toplevel) routing, verification, and design finishing.

  • Manage the physical design phase from start to tape-out, including planning, documentation, reviews, quality, and progress tracking.

  • Collaborate with other physical designers across global locations to ensure consistent and high-quality results.

  • Maintain technology-specific documentation and contribute to knowledge- and quality-driven meetings.

  • Participate in improvement initiatives to optimize flows, methodologies, and overall efficiency.

    You are detail-oriented, communicative, and enjoy working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. You're proactive in tackling design challenges and can translate complex requirements into high-quality physical design solutions.

    In addition, you have:

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Electronics or a related field

  • Strong experience with Cadence (Virtuoso) and physical design flows (floorplanning, placement, routing, verification, finishing)

  • Familiarity with high frequency / mmWave design is a plus

  • Good command of the English language, both spoken and written. Dutch language is a plus
