Job Title: Sales Support Specialist
Reports To: Vice President, Global Sales Support Team at the Japan Headquarters
Job Location: Kyoto Japan (first year) & Amsterdam Area, the Netherlands (the second year onward)
Contract: For the first year, your employment will be under a one-year fixed-term contract, which will be converted to a permanent contract from the second year onward.

Summary
ARKRAY has recently established a new position of European Sales Support Specialist to support our business partners in line with our business expansion in the European region. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and supporting strategies to help our trusted sales agents sell ARKRAY's lab, POCT, and diabetes care products to new and established hospitals, laboratories, and related markets across Europe. Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets in the European region by enhancing brand awareness and providing support such as responding to inquiries and offering specialised advice to promote the sale of ARKRAY products.
- Identify potential customers, schedule regular appointments and meetings, and maintain positive customer support exemplifying ARKRAY's core values
- Maintain a detailed understanding of customer decision-makers and influential individuals, and build and maintain customer relationships through regular appointments and meetings
- Identify and develop KOL’s (Key Opinion Leaders) that can advocate ARKRAY’s products for solutions in the market
- Conduct effective demonstrations and presentations of ARKRAY products, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and conduct related research to meet customers' scientific and business needs.
- Collaborate with other members of the company and the group companies to follow up and coordinate all pre- and post-sales field activities for ARKRAY equipment
- Address customer questions and concerns expeditiously and professionally to avoid and resolve conflicts, improve customer satisfaction, and capture new opportunities.
- Attend and organize trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings to represent competency in ARKRAY products and provide ARKRAY management with market trends and competitive field activity information enabling the company to support territory strategies/tactics and react quickly to competitive actions.
- Support regional strategies and tactics, and respond quickly to competitor activities
- Prepare technical reports for channel partners to participate in tenders or offers and develop plans to influence upcoming such.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of administrative tasks such as weekly reports, analyser forecasts, CRM updates, and expense reports
- Perform other duties assigned or accepted as out of the guidelines.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- 3+ year experience as a Sales Representative in IVD industry
- Ability to work in Japan for 1+ year of training and return to the Netherlands
- 1+ year experience communicating with channel partners
- English skills at a business level
- Ability to travel to Europe or other regions on a regular or temporary basis
Preferred Experience/Skills
- Knowledge of medicine, clinical diagnostics, or related fields
- Bachelor’s degree or above in the field of business or related discipline
- Bachelor’s degree or above in the field of Life Sciences or related discipline
- Experience with CRM systems and/or BI tools
- Knowledge or experience in trade operations or quality control
- Experience in B2B business
- Ability to travel to the Japan Headquarters or other offices as needed for trainings or other purposes
- Access to a major airport
- Ability of Japanese or European languages
