Global Quality Director

About the Company
Fynde has partnered with an innovative packaging solutions brand based in Eindhoven that is on a mission to deliver safe, sustainable, and high-performing packaging globally. To strengthen their quality capabilities, they are seeking an experienced and proactive Global Quality Director to lead and standardise quality practices across international operations.
As Global Quality Director you will take responsibility for shaping and implementing the company’s global quality strategy. You will lead the development of the Quality Management System, ensure product consistency across regions, and drive compliance with international regulations and customer requirements. Reporting functionally over four regional quality professionals, you will be instrumental in embedding standardised practices and building a robust global framework for quality excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop the global Product Quality Management System (QMS).
- Standardise and implement regional SOPs in production and supply chain.
- Ensure consistent product quality through New Product Introduction (NPI) and product control plans.
- Lead the global Management of Change (MoC) process and quality documentation.
- Conduct audits, with authority to stop production or supply when necessary.
- Implement a global QA reporting structure and KPI dashboard.
- Align regional QA/QC teams under one coordinated reporting structure.
- Ensure compliance with key regulations and customer requirements (PPWR, CSRD, ESG).
- Support supplier onboarding, including audits and service level agreements.
- Drive sustainability-focused quality initiatives.
What You Bring
- Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in a senior quality leadership role, ideally in manufacturing or supply chain.
- Strong knowledge of global QA standards, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with product lifecycle quality control and MoC processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across international regions.
- Ability to translate strategy into execution and standardisation.
- Willingness to travel internationally (25–50%), particularly to China and the US.
