As Lead Electrical Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in the energy transition by designing and delivering complex offshore and onshore energy installations. From initial feasibility studies to complete detailed engineering - you are the technical leader ensuring seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor electrical engineering teams throughout complete project lifecycle
- Ensure quality, schedule, and budget compliance within electrical scope
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and clients
- Design complete electrical & instrumentation systems for offshore platforms
- Provide technical leadership from feasibility studies through EPC contract execution
- Oversee detailed engineering design from the very first project phase
- Deliver technical guidance and leadership at senior level
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum 5+ years solid leadership experience in electrical engineering
- Proven experience in detailed engineering from initial design phase
- Strong background in electrical/instrumentation for offshore and energy projects
- Proficiency with PDMS, Smart Plant Instrumentation, and AutoCAD preferred
- Experience with high-voltage projects and substation design
- Excellent communication and leadership skills in Dutch and English
- Structured approach with ability to perform under pressure
