EMEA Recruitment is partnering with a Engineering services company to recruit a Project Controller for its team in either Amsterdam or Utrecht, Netherlands.


As Project Controller, you play a key role in ensuring predictable project results. You act as a financial advisor and sparring partner to project and business unit management. With a sharp eye for risks, margins, and compliance, you help keep projects on track while supporting informed decision-making.


Responsibilities:


  • Set up and maintain financial project structures in IFS, including invoicing, time registration, and cost control
  • Prepare monthly forecasts and project reports with the project manager
  • Monitor cash flow, margins, and timely project closure
  • Support risk management from tender to execution phase
  • Provide insights and advice on financial performance and efficiency improvements
  • Contribute to rolling forecasts and management reports


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
  • 5+ years of Finance experience, preferably in project-driven or industrial environments
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proficient in ERP (IFS preferred) and Excel
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
