As part of the global SII Group, we combine engineering excellence with digital innovation, supporting clients in aerospace, automotive, energy, and high-tech industries.
We are looking for
A Software Engineer focused on analysis who will contribute to solving complex engineering challenges by developing and applying advanced tools for design, stress analysis, and manufacturing simulations. You will bridge the gap between engineering analysis and software development, ensuring technical solutions meet customer requirements, regulations, and program constraints.
This role requires both hands-on technical expertise and the ability to communicate results effectively across engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze technical problems and contribute to robust solutions.
- Develop, implement, and validate technical solutions for assigned work packages.
- Create and maintain software tools for product design (e.g., CATIA automation with VBA/Python).
- Develop and apply software tools for manufacturing simulations (e.g., 3D RobotStudio, RoboDK, Sinutrain, CNC/robot controller software, C# add-ins).
- Build and apply stress analysis tools using Abaqus, Patran/Nastran, and/or Simcenter.
- Perform and review finite element analyses (FEA) to support product development.
- Document and present technical findings clearly to stakeholders across engineering disciplines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in developing engineering software tools.
- Strong background in stress analysis and ability to independently conduct and validate analyses.
- Hands-on expertise with FEA tools (Nastran/Patran, Abaqus; Simcenter is a plus).
- Experience automating CAD platforms (e.g., CATIA with VBA, Python scripting).
- Familiarity with manufacturing simulation tools (RobotStudio, RoboDK, Sinutrain, CNC/robot software).
- Strong communication skills and ability to present technical results to diverse engineering audiences.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
