A mix of strategic and operational work, this role will give you an international scope of work and high visibity with the CEO and leadership of a global business. There is a strong future career path to group manager and then on to FD


As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a vital role in facilitating effective project decisions by identifying and communicating commercial and financial risks and investment opportunities.


Collaborating with product developers, and market development managers, you will be at the forefront of driving the success of R&D projects and new product launches.


Your expertise in commercial business cases, pricing, and costing will provide both challenge and support to our team of non-financial professionals, ensuring a well-rounded and strategic approach to decision-making.


You will be responsible for accurately providing our organization with data and metrics, identifying trends and problems, and recommending actions to improve performance.


Key Responsibilities:

Business Finance Analyses:

  • Support the financial and commercial review aspects of innovation projects, contributing to high-quality business cases and the project's commercialization plan.
  • Understand the impact throughout the value chain, from raw material manufacturers to end-consumers, ensuring pricing, costing, sales, and margin impacts are considered.
  • Own the financial element of the R&D project pipeline, accurately gathering data and building metrics, and recommending actions for improved performance.
  • Collaborate with business decision-makers to drive company-wide strategic platforms and align with regions globally.
  • Actively participate in projects, providing timely follow-up on assigned actions, particularly in financial and commercial analyses.
  • Provide analyses of results from projects as part of business performance reviews.
  • Partner with segment leaders on local projects and cost-saving programs.
