Key Responsibilities:
- Establish, monitor, and uphold high standards of safety and quality across all site activities.
- Supervise construction operations, coordinating labour, plant, machinery, and materials.
- Provide regular progress updates to key stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
- Support the Project Manager in managing and overseeing on-site personnel within your designated area.
- Manage subcontractor activities to ensure work is delivered to specification and schedule.
- Take a leadership role on site, ensuring all work is carried out in line with the site safety plan and regulations.
- Maintain discipline, address incidents promptly, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Plan and allocate labour and material resources required for your scope of work.
- Apply previous experience in either MEP or CSA packages to drive successful delivery.
- Inspect all materials prior to installation to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Contribute to the successful handover of systems to the client.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience managing engineering projects, ideally within the energy or power sectors.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams effectively.
- In-depth understanding of mechanical or electrical engineering principles, best practices, and relevant industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
