Job Opportunity: FEC/CDD Analyst – Client Onboarding

About the Role
As an FEC Analyst – Client Onboarding, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring a secure and transparent financial system. You will be responsible for conducting thorough integrity investigations on new clients, identifying and assessing financial-economic crime risks, and supporting the onboarding process.
Your work ensures a strong balance between delivering a great client experience and safeguarding against money laundering, fraud, and terrorist financing. Using advanced tools like machine learning, automation, and data analysis, you’ll help protect the financial system while building long-term client relationships.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct independent risk analyses and investigations for new and existing clients (business and private).
- Assess and weigh integrity risks, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
- Maintain strong client relationships, explaining the importance of investigations and information requirements.
- Act as a point of contact for Junior Analysts, providing support and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to both risk mitigation and commercial goals by fostering lasting client partnerships.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a CDD/FEC Analyst, with a focus on client onboarding.
- Proven expertise with Business Clients (SME and Large Corporate) and Private Clients.
- A HBO diploma (or higher) with in-depth knowledge of integrity risks, laws, and regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to recognize risks quickly and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch (spoken and written) – confident in client-facing interactions.
- Experience working within banking is a strong plus.
- Self-starter, proactive, and ready for immediate contribution.
