As our new Shipping Manager, you have the overall responsibility for the End-to-End delivery performance within both Spare Parts and Equipment deliveries to End-customers in the local regions ( Americas, Europe) and globally. In this position, you will work hands-on in operational tasks for 50% of your time, alongside overseeing management duties for the remaining 50%.
In cooperation with Procurement, Sales & Order Fulfillment team the Shipping Manager aligns and standardizes processes, Standard Operating Procedures, Delivery Service Offerings, KPIs, and digitalization following the globally defined ways of working. Performance is constantly monitored and continuously improved from inbound deliveries from external suppliers to “last mile” deliveries to End-customers.
As a part of Marel Global Supply Chain, you will lead a department of 3 shipping engineers and you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the individuals in this team. You will report to the Global Logistics Director.
