Claims Handler
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Claims Handlerto join our team. In this role, you will support the handling of policies in the co-insurance market and assist in the processing of international insurance programs. You will help with the drafting, issuing, and administration of liability and other commercial insurance policies, working closely with colleagues, brokers, and external partners.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some insurance operations experience who is looking to further develop their skills in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the drafting and issuing of policies in our back-office system (Level) and Microsoft Word.
- Support policy bookings, checking for accuracy and compliance with requirements.
- Help review and process allocation schedules for co-insurance arrangements.
- Contribute to the administration of international insurance programs, coordinating with colleagues across jurisdictions.
- Work with brokers, insurers, reinsurers, and internal teams to provide high-quality service.
- Learn and apply technical knowledge of policy-related processes.
- Participate in process improvements within the operations function.
Qualifications & Experience
- Some experience in the co-insurance market or exposure to exchange-listed policies is an advantage.
- Background in insurance operations, ideally in liability or another commercial line.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
- Ability to read and understand documents such as allocation schedules.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word; experience with insurance systems (knowledge of Level is a plus).
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken; other languages are a bonus.
