Cross Border Talents are in search of an Engine Performance Calibration Engineer for one of our clients – a leading Dutch agency specialized in the employment and relocation of highly skilled professionals in the Netherlands. The role is based in Eindhoven, Netherlands but is open for engineers from the entire European Union and offers relocation support and all the necessary assistance you might need with the move.  As an Engine Performance Calibration Engineer you will be part of a team which calibrates their best in class engines for optimal performance under all conditions within the defined constraints.
 Your tasks:
 -  	Develop 	heavy duty diesel engines with focus on engine performance and ECU 	function calibration;
-  	Calibrate 	and develop mechatronic components on the engine;
-  	Performance 	validation of new proto engines;
-  	Take 	part on one of many engine calibration tasks within the team, all 	with the goal to have optimal fuel economy and performance within 	the defined constraints;
-  	Take 	initiative to constantly improve tools and processes;
-  	Documentation 	of test results, tool usage and possible improvements;
-  	Collaboration 	in teams to support several different projects.
Requirements
 -  	Master’s 	degree in Mechatronics , Automotive Technology or Mechanical 	Engineering;
- At least 2+ years of experience on a similar position;
-  	Close 	affinity with internal combustion engines;
-  	Engine 	testing experience, preferably on heavy duty truck engines;
-  	Experience 	on heavy duty truck engine calibration is a 	must;
-  	Matlab 	experience (modeling and scripting) is a must;
-  	Knowledge 	of statistics;
-  	Excellent 	English skills both verbally and in writing;
- EU citizenship or other necessary documentation allowing you to live and work in the Netherlands.
