  • Design, install, and commission electrical systems, focusing on switch gears for renewable energy projects
  • Develop and implement plans for the operation and maintenance of switch gears in wind farms, solar plants, and energy storage systems
  • Ensure the reliability and safety of switch gears by conducting testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
  • Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and other engineers to ensure the successful deployment of renewable energy solutions
  • Perform electrical load calculations and risk assessments related to switch gear systems
  • Oversee compliance with industry standards and safety regulations for medium and low voltage equipment
  • Travel to project sites to supervise the installation and commissioning of switch gears and associated electrical systems


Functie-eisen
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically with switch gears in the renewable energy sector
  • Strong knowledge of medium and low voltage switch gears, circuit breakers, and electrical distribution systems
  • Experience with the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems for solar, wind, or other renewable energy projects
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize switch gear performance, ensuring safety and reliability
  • Proficient in electrical design software and CAD tools
  • Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Willingness to travel to project sites for installation, testing, and commissioning phases
