Purpose of Position:
The aim of this intern position is to gain relevant work experience and exposure to trade compliance. This ambition is aimed at supporting the implementation and enhancement of the global Braskem trade Compliance program globally. The intern is guided and mentored by the Trade Compliance Specialist Europe and Asia.
Key Accountabilities:
Ensure:
1.Help ensure implementation and enhancement of the trade control and sanctions compliance program globally . Acts as project support for the review for the global program.
2. Help ensure identification and mitigation of trade control and sanctions compliance risks
3. Help ensure compliance with applicable laws including OFAC and similar guidelines.
Conduct:
Technical / Management Knowledge
· Bachelor recommended, masters degree desired, e.g. in Trade Compliance, Maritime, Transport, Business Administration or Law
· We welcome an active interest or experience in trade compliance or related areas (ABC, AML internal audit, risk management, etc.)
· We welcome knowledge of relevant sanctions, import/export controls and trade control laws
· Knowledge of Excel, SAP, Oracle
· Language: English business fluent other languages desired
