Job descriptionAs an R&D chemist, you are responsible for the development, validation and transfer of methods used in the QC laboratory, where medicine is being analysed to be of the highest quality. Methods you will become a subject-matter-expert in are, among others, HPLC, UV-Vis, dissolution, IR and other commonly used techniques. Not only are you working hands-on in the lab, you will also work in projects as an analytical expert to ensure the correct roll-out of new products in the company. This makes the role diverse and you will switch between having meetings to streamline implementation of new pharmceutical products, R&D lab work, tech transfer with junior laboratory technicians and meeting with clients to discuss specifications.

Finished Bachelors (BSc) or Masters (MSc) in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Science or similar
Minimum 3 years experience in an analytical laboratory (pharma is a big plus)
Experience in method development, validation and optimisation for HPLC analyses
Knowledge of GMP is considered a big plus
Living in South of Limburg or willing to relocate
Motivated and able to combine a hands-on mind-set with a detail oriented R&D point of view
Good communicator
Good knowledge of English, Dutch is not necessary
