Technical Instructor – Packaging Systems

Job description

As Technical Instructor, you’ll act as a key enabler in helping both operators and technicians get the most out of advanced packaging systems. The role involves delivering tailored training programs on machine operation, safety, and maintenance—conducted both at customer sites and internally. Alongside direct training, you'll contribute to the development of learning materials, coordinate demo equipment, and support technical queries when needed. Key responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on and theoretical training to external customers and internal staff.
  • Support the onboarding and continuous development of service engineers and technicians.
  • Create and update training content, including e-learning materials and instructor-led sessions.
  • Assist with scheduling and managing demo equipment for training purposes.
  • Contribute to the design and improvement of training strategies for new technologies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team on customer demonstrations.
  • Provide occasional support to field service or helpdesk teams.
  • Maintain responsibility for all training-related tools and machinery.

    Requirements

  • An education in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or comparable).
  • Experience in a technical or engineering role in a customer-facing or training capacity
  • Willingness to travel 40-50% of your time within Europe to clients during work days
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written); additional languages such as French, Spanish, German, Polish, or Italian are a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with a proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office 365 and other training-related tools.
  • Currently living within commuting distance of the Deurne office
