Are you a Junior Requirement Engineer who would like to apply their experience to the competitive space industry, requiring the highest level of international security and contributing to Galileo and IRIS2, Europe's satellite navigation systems?
Your role
CGI Space Netherlands is looking for an engineer to work at our client site in France (Paris area). The objective of the job is to provide system requirement engineering for several space programs. You will contribute to the definition, analysis, documentation, and management of requirements across the different satellite projects of the EU.
This is a junior-level position intended for engineers with 2.5–5 years of experience, ideally with a background in aerospace, (software) engineering or database management.
Activities to be performed are (but not limited to):
•Requirement Elicitation: Refining and iterating on the existing requirement documents and their traceability and architecture.
• Requirement Documentation: Writing clear, testable and traceable system and subsystem requirements.
• Traceability management: Importing and structuring security requirements in IBM DOORS and managing their traceability and architecture.
• Change control: Handle updates and changes to requirements, assess impact, and manage the baseline.
• Improvement advice: Provide advice on evolutions of requirements needed to improve various systems, also considering lessons learnt.
Things you need to be successful
• Good client facing skills / Interpersonal skills;
• English speaking and writing skills;
• EU passport; Please note that holding an EU passport is mandatory for obtaining an EU Personal Security Clearance, which is part of our selection process.
• Experience in aerospace, (software) engineering or database management (minimal 2,5 years);
• Able and willing to apply for a personal security clearance.
Things that are nice to have (optional)
• Experience in requirement management;
• Experience in using requirements tooling, such as DOORS or similar tooling;
• Experience in the security domain.
