Reesink Logistic Solutions (RLS) is a leading supplier of automated, integrated logistics solutions, ranging from robust, automated pallet storage to fully automated goods-to-person systems using advanced AutoStore (robots) and Geek+ (AMR) technology and controlled by in-house developed Warehouse Control Software. RLS consists of the companies AM Logistic Solutions (Offenau, Germany), Lalesse Logistic Solutions (Duiven, Netherlands) and two subsidiaries in Poland and Austria. Project Management within RLS

The Operations department is responsible for the complete execution of multiple logistics projects both in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, as well as in other European countries. As Project Manager within Lalesse, you are commercially, technically, financially and administratively responsible for one or more projects simultaneously. Together with your multidisciplinary project team, you lead a project from engineering and the on-site installation and commissioning phase to successful delivery to the customer. You work independently but always keep a close eye on the team you are working with. You naturally think in solutions, dare to make decisions and take responsibility. You report to the Head of Project Management, who is end responsible for projects within the company and you will be homebased in Duiven.

As Project Manager you will be responsible to manage projects efficiently, successfully, and within the borders of the compliancy regulations, you must be able to own the plan, energize the team, and make sure every milestone splashes down on time, on budget, and on point. Your most important qualities are team coordination and communication, technical know-how and hands-on execution, integration of various business processes or projects and business development.

RLS is constantly working on new (logistic) solutions. This is happening at a fast pace and we are working in a complex environment where we often need to connect to customer requests in projects and service situations in a secure way.

In order to be able to successfully fill this position, we ask you to continue to invest in interaction and collaboration with many different external and internal stakeholders. As a person, you are result-oriented and a successful team leader. In addition, you are strong in planning, conceptual and analysis and able to communicate findings and analyses well, both in writing and verbally.

These are your main responsibilities:

  • Successfully guide the entire project through the phases from kick-off to engineering, execution, testing, delivery and handover to Service;
  • Monitoring project planning and review, ensuring that key dates and milestones are met and progress of activities is secured;
  • Building, organizing and motivating multidisciplinary project teams;
  • Coordinate with the various disciplines and stakeholders involved for management resources and materials, and ensure optimal communication between all involved;
  • On-site support for key people within the project, such as Site Supervisor and Commissioning Engineer;
  • Responsible for Contract Management, Profit & Loss, continuously looking for new opportunities with the aim of improving results;
  • Understanding and responding to customer needs and expectations and building trust;
  • Health, Safety and Environment (HSE).

  • What do we expect from our new Project Manager:

  • An HBO work and thinking level, preferably in the field of (mechanical) construction or electrical engineering;
  • Minimum 5-7 years of successful experience in Project Management for system solutions;
  • Construction, logistics, legal and business knowledge, especially in the field of transport and storage systems;
  • Good command of the Dutch, English and, preferably, German languages;
  • You are self-starting and a team lead, you are initiating, know how to give directions, motivate and support others;
  • A communicatively/politically skilled and customer-oriented colleague, even in situations of high workload, you keep your head cool and continuously make the right choice between organization and customer interests;
  • Finally, you are flexible, honest, open and a pragmatic doer.
