    As a Semiconductor Field Engineer, you’ll analyze customer systems, identify improvements, and deliver innovative solutions to optimize semiconductor fluid systems. You’ll work with internal engineers, OEMs, and customers to ensure high-performing operations while benefiting from a global network of field engineers who share best practices and support one another on strategic projects.

    Location: Austin, TX

    Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers, engineers, and project teams to solve complex fluid system challenges in semiconductor environments.
  • Conduct performance analyses to uncover inefficiencies and recommend system modifications, retrofits, or upgrades.
  • Ensure all work complies with customer specifications, safety standards, and industry codes.
  • Document activities and generate clear reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships by providing technical expertise and high-value solutions.
  • Support business growth by identifying opportunities for system improvements that drive revenue.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related engineering field (or 8–10 years semiconductor experience in lieu of a degree).
  • 3–5 years of semiconductor experience preferred; knowledge of fluid mechanics, fluid dynamics, and P&ID interpretation highly valued.
  • Proficiency with fluid system components (valves, pumps, sensors, controls) and familiarity with industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and willing to travel occasionally for customer support.
  • Strong safety awareness and customer-focused approach.
