Job Description

SUMMARY

The Animal Nutrition & Health (AN&H) business supplies enzymes & probiotics to the animal production industry. We are a technology leader, with a rich pipeline of new products that we expect to launch in the next five years. AN&H is seeking a motivated Global Marketing Manager – Poultry to define and execute the Marketing plan for the Poultry segment. This is an integrative role, and the Marketing Manager is expected to build alignment throughout the organization to coordinate work and achieve growth objectives. 

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:


Manage projects to develop new products or reposition existing products:
o Develop success criteria based on market needs (VOC/market research, etc.)
o Develop project opportunity/financial assessments (feasibility study to NPV)
o Develop value propositions and product positioning
o Prepare and execute updates in the Cross-functional Partnership Team (CPT) meeting (project updates and stage gate reviews)
o Develop and execute product launch plans 
o Deliver trainings to the Sales force, in collaboration with the Technical Marketing team

Develop market analytics and insights:
o Monitor competitors: document their choices/strategy/tactics, derive conclusions in terms of impact on IFF, estimate their market share
o Calculate the market size of each feed additive category (phytase, xylanase, etc.)
o Document customer/market insights, identify and monitor key market trends 

Define and execute the Marketing plan for the segment:
o Define Marketing Communication priorities, for global editorial Marcom plan
o Create compelling stories / content (articles, webinars) in trade press
o Create marketing collaterals (brochures etc.)
o Host regular species calls with the regions to align on priorities and drive progress
o Provide input to stage zero process: prepare opportunity assessments, market needs (VOC, research) as required
o Participate in industry events or customer meetings as required (develop and/or deliver presentations)
o Participate in Key Account Teams 

Job Requirements


QUALIFICATIONS


• Master of Science or Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science or related technical field
• At least 5 years' experience in a Marketing role
• A successful track record within a global, matrix organization environment
• Experience managing cross-functional projects
• Fluent in English (oral and written)
