ICT Technician

As an ICT Technician / IT Support Engineer with our client, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing automated systems, mechanical installations, and robots within a dynamic warehouse or production environment. You will work with complex equipment that is essential for ensuring smooth logistics operations.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Installing, testing, and repairing advanced production systems.
• Performing planned and preventive maintenance on mechatronic systems.
• Analyzing and resolving malfunctions in large-scale installations.
• Collaborating with operators to identify technical issues in a timely manner.
• Preparing work plans for emergency repairs on critical assets.
• Reporting findings and improvement proposals.

You will work according to established procedures and under the guidance of experienced colleagues.

We are looking for a proactive and eager-to-learn technician who has:

• A completed MBO-level diploma (preferably in ICT, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1–2 years of work experience with automated conveyor systems, material handling equipment, or industrial installations.
• The ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Basic knowledge of mathematical calculations (percentages, ratios, etc.).
• Good communication skills (in English or Dutch) and a hands-on mindset.
• Physical fitness: able to walk stairs/ladders, lift, and stand for long periods (lifting up to 23 kg is not an issue).
• A driving license and your own car.
• Residence in the Groningen, Delfzijl, or Appingedam area.
