As a leading hand operations, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our logistics hub in Venlo. You’ll oversee daily workflows, motivate a team of over 50 colleagues, and tackle challenges like balancing personnel and volume planning. With your organizational skills and focus on continuous improvement, you’ll help us maintain efficiency and deliver exceptional service in line with UPS’s mission to connect people and businesses worldwide.

What You Will Do:

• Plan: daily operational activities to ensure seamless workflows and timely execution.
• Create: backup plans to address unexpected absences or disruptions in the schedule.
• Lead: daily PCM meetings to update the team on performance, planning, and company news.
• Coach: team members by providing training, guidance, and motivation to achieve their best results.
• Conduct: monthly performance reviews to support team development and identify growth opportunities.

• Temporary contract with a view to permanent employment.
• Full-time role, 32-40 hours per week.

• Experience as a leading hand or team leader in logistics.
• Strong organizational and team motivation skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Detail-oriented, solution-focused, and flexible availability.
• MBO Level 3 education in logistics or related field.
