Job Description:
Vitens NV, the largest drinking water company in the Netherlands, is looking for a skilled and motivated Policy Advisor Quality to join the HR Safety team at the Zwolle office. This temporary position focuses on developing, advising, and improving internal policies related to safety, quality assurance, and compliance within the HR domain.
You will contribute to shaping safety culture across the organization by ensuring that policy frameworks align with regulatory standards, internal procedures, and Vitens strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and update internal policies related to safety and quality within the HR domain
Advise management and departments on implementation and compliance
Analyze incidents, audits, and feedback to improve safety and quality standards
Ensure policies comply with legal and sector-specific regulations
Support safety awareness initiatives and training programs
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to HR safety and quality
Collaborate with HR, Operations, and other departments to align safety policy goals
HBO/WO education in a relevant field (e.g. Safety Management, Quality Assurance, HR, Public Administration)
Proven experience in policy development, quality assurance, or safety advisory roles
Affinity with HR and organizational safety frameworks
Strong analytical and writing skills
Familiarity with Dutch laws and regulations related to workplace safety and quality (e.g. Arbowet)
Excellent command of Dutch (spoken and written)
Able to work independently and communicate with stakeholders at various levels
Experience in utilities or infrastructure sectors is a plus
Contract duration: November 3, 2025 May 29, 2026
Work location: Zwolle Office, Vitens NV (on-site or hybrid depending on team arrangements)
