We have a great opportunity to join Emerson as our Welding Engineer. In this key role, you will be our in-house expert for Welding Engineering and automation, coordinating our welding processes, including the (ongoing) qualifications of our welders and ensuring that weld processes are completed according to the applicable standards. You need to understand manufacturing operations from a process, safety, cost, and quality perspective and for identifying and prioritizing opportunities to improve safety, ergonomics and quality, reduce cost, and refine manufacturing processes. The role is part of our Manufacturing Engineering team, and you will also spend time working with our Quality team to ensure compliance with procedures and standards, and developing and maintaining welding documentation (PQR, WPS, WPQ).
