Your Key Responsibilities


You will be part of Schaeffler Special Machinery Netherlands, a partner for customized production solutions. Everything from a single source: from the initial idea to the machine concept and finally to stable series production. Special Machinery has been developing and delivering custom machines and systems for over 60 years.

You will enjoy a flexible part-time schedule of 20 to 24 hours per week, starting with a one-year contract with possibility for extension.

In this position you are responsible for several operational HR activities within the Benelux area, such as:

  • Managing personnel files and maintaining HR systems

  • Processing contracts, changes, and extensions

  • Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes

  • Preparing HR reports and overviews

  • Coordinating leave, absence, and sick leave registration

  • Administrative support in recruitment and selection

  • Preparing the payroll administration

  • Communicating with employees on HR-related matters

    • You report to the HR Manager for the BENELUX region.

    Your Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • A few years relevant HR experience, preferably within the industrial sector.

  • Strong administrative skills.

  • Confidence in navigating both corporate and local workplace settings.

  • Strong understanding of labor laws to ensure compliance and best practices.

  • Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS), with familiarity in SAP and SuccessFactors being a plus.

  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate across diverse teams.

  • Excellent communication skills, a structured approach to work, and a proactive, hands-on mentality.
