Transaction Banking Support Analyst, Merchant Finance and Treasury


Adyen is looking for a Transaction Banking Support Analyst to join the Merchant Finance and Treasury team in Amsterdam. As Merchant Finance & Treasury we are the financial backbone of Adyen; optimizing and automating financial processes for scale, mitigating risks, and enabling growth through customer-centricity, operational excellence, innovation and integrity.


As a Transaction Banking Support Analyst, you will ensure smooth daily back-office bank operations by working on exception handling and responding to bank inquiries. This includes communicating with other Financial Institutions regarding bank recalls, AML screening and payment inquiries. While focused on operations, you’ll also drive process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and collaborating with technical teams to implement smart solutions for our Back-office Bank Operations. 


What you’ll do

  • Manage the daily back-office bank operations, such as recalls & AML screening, and serve as the main contact for financial institutions globally via SWIFT;

  • Work together with various operational teams to assure the smooth handling of the daily operations; 

  • Use your insights from bank inquiries to spot improvement opportunities, and work closely with product and technical teams to drive meaningful changes to Adyen’s Products;

  • Drive operational excellence by identifying process improvements with a strong focus on scalability and collaborate with product and technical teams to implement these solutions;

  • Report insights regarding our bank operations to internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Who you are

  • You have 1-3 years of experience in a support, operations, or financial services role within fintech or banking;

  • You have experience in back-office bank operations, including handling recall requests & AML screening, and/or SWIFT operations;

  • You have experience in finance, economics, or banking;

  • You take ownership in running smooth day-to-day operations;

  • You’re proactive and always looking for ways to make things work better or more efficient;

  • You thrive in a fast-paced, global environment;

  • You are a strong communicator, capable of managing time sensitive external conversations.
