FunctieomschrijvingI am currently searching for an experienced candidate to be a Non-Executive Director for one of our key clients, with a focus on solar PV and BESS. This person would join the board and provide strategic oversight, guidance, and expertise as they expand. This role is based ideally in the Netherlands.
My client is an IPP that develops, builds, and operates renewable energy projects in Europe, particularly in Portugal, Italy, and Spain.
Key Responsibilities:
Shape and support strategic growth in the onshore renewable energy sector.
Advise on project development, implementation, and optimisation.
Oversee governance, compliance, and risk management.
Strengthen stakeholder engagement across governments, investors, and partners.
Monitor performance and champion innovation and sustainability initiatives.
About You:
Extensive board-level and/or executive experience in renewable energy.
Deep understanding of onshore project development and operations.
Strong governance and risk management expertise.
Proven ability to engage stakeholders at senior levels across Europe.
