Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP MDG Techno-Functional Consultant to lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of technical development skills and functional expertise across key MDG domains (Material, Vendor, Customer, Business Partner, Finance).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver end-to-end SAP MDG solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise data strategy.

  • Drive the design, configuration, and customization of MDG data models, UI (FPM), workflows, BRF+ rules, validations, and derivations.

  • Design and develop ABAP enhancements, BADIs, BAPIs, OData services, and user exits for custom business requirements.

  • Oversee integration between SAP MDG and SAP ECC/S/4HANA, SAP PI/PO, CPI, and third-party systems using IDocs, ALE, RFCs, and Web Services.

  • Configure and manage Data Replication Framework (DRF) for seamless data distribution.

  • Collaborate with enterprise architects to define and implement MDG strategies in hybrid/multi-system landscapes.

  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on MDG domains: Business Partner, Material, Customer, Vendor, and Finance.

  • Guide and mentor development teams, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices and high-quality deliverables.

  • Conduct business workshops, prepare functional and technical specifications, and support SIT/UAT phases.

  • Support data quality, governance, compliance, and process harmonization initiatives.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and IT leadership on MDG strategy, roadmap, and innovations.



RequirementsRequired Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA MDG Finance or cross-domain implementation.

  • Strong hands-on expertise in:

    • ABAP, BRF+, FPM UI, Workflows, BADIs, BAPIs

    • MDG Data Modeling, Rule-Based Workflows, and DRF

    • Integration technologies: OData, IDocs, Web Services, ALE, RFC

  • Proficient in SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI for integration scenarios.

  • Deep domain knowledge in Master Data: BP, Material, Vendor, Customer, Finance.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and bridge the gap between business and IT teams.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Experience with Agile/Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
