Executive Officer, Human Resources and Administration in the Clinical Trials Centre (Ref: 533343)

The Clinical Trials Centre (HKU-CTC) is a leading clinical trials management platform established under The University of Hong Kong LKS Faculty of Medicine (HKUMed) and is dedicated to managing and facilitating international-standard clinical trials on new drugs, medical devices and medical technologies. HKU-CTC offers long-term development opportunities to passionate talents who pursue career advancement and success. We are seeking a high calibre candidate to join our Corporate Services & Administration Team.


Main Responsibilities

  • Handle full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, screening, interview, staff onboarding, leave management, professional development and exit management, etc.;

  • Work closely with different operation teams in identifying manpower requirements;

  • Provide regular HR reporting and data analysis;

  • Assist in developing recruitment strategy;

  • Assist in preparing employment recommendation packages for Senior Management's consideration;

  • Assist in planning, developing and implementing human resources and administrative services policies and procedures;

  • Liaise with internal and external parties for employee activities and events; and

  • Provide supports for ad hoc projects as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above;

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in human resources and/or administration;

  • Good coordination, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills;

  • Ability to prepare documents and correspondences independently;

  • Detail-minded, able to handle multiple tasks concurrently, and self-motivated; 

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is a must; and

  • Comprehensive experience across all HR functions or with prior experience as an HR generalist will be a definite advantage.

    The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 2-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
