Are you a Clinical Operations leader ready to drive strategic growth in a high-impact biotech environment?

I’m currently partnering with a fast-growing European biotech company that is advancing a cutting-edge pipeline in vaccine development. As they expand their clinical programs across multiple regions, they are now seeking a Head of Clinical Operations to lead and scale their global clinical trial function.

This is a permanent, senior-level role ideal for someone with strong operational leadership experience in clinical development, especially within vaccine, infectious disease, or biologics-focused programs.

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all global clinical trial operations (Phases I–III)
• Lead internal teams and external partners (CROs, vendors) to deliver clinical studies on time, within budget, and in compliance with GCP/ICH standards
• Oversee study planning, site selection, patient recruitment, monitoring, and data collection
• Build and mentor a growing Clinical Operations team, fostering a high-performance culture
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Regulatory, Medical, QA, and CMC departments
• Contribute to protocol development, study design, and regulatory submission strategy
• Manage budgets, timelines, and operational risk across all clinical programs

• 10+ years of experience in Clinical Operations within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
• Proven track record leading global clinical trials, ideally in vaccines or related therapeutic areas
• Strong experience managing CROs, vendors, and cross-functional project teams
• In-depth knowledge of GCP, ICH, and global regulatory requirements (EMA/FDA)
• Demonstrated success in scaling clinical teams and building operational infrastructure
• Life Sciences degree required; advanced degree (MSc, PhD, MD, or PharmD) preferred
• Based in Europe and open to travel as required
