FunctieomschrijvingFunctieomschrijvingAs our Accountmanager for the Benelux, you are responsible for achieving sales and profit targets within your territory. This is a project-driven role where you will manage long sales cycles from start to finish. You will identify new projects, such as the construction of laboratories at universities or pharmaceutical companies, and position GCE as the preferred supplier. You will work from your home office and spend about 2-3 days a week on the road visiting clients and project stakeholders across the Benelux region.
Your key responsibilities include:
Achieving sales and profit targets for the Speciality Gases division in the Benelux.
Identifying new projects and business opportunities in markets like semiconductor, pharma, and academia.
Building and maintaining a strong network of customers, planners, architects, and installation companies.
Guiding and influencing the tender process to ensure GCE's solutions are specified.
Managing the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing the deal.
Preparing quotations and collaborating closely with the inside sales and product management teams.
Traveling throughout the Benelux, with occasional trips to our offices in Germany and the Czech Republic for meetings and training.

You have a strategic mindset, are comfortable with long-term project sales, and possess the drive to acquire new business.
Furthermore, you have:
At least 4-5 years of experience in a technical sales position.
A background in the gas industry or with installation companies is a significant advantage.
Proven experience with complex, project-driven sales cycles.
The ability to work independently from a home office and demonstrate strong self-discipline.
Excellent communication and networking skills.
Fluency in Dutch, English, and German is required.
Willingness to travel frequently within the Benelux region and occasionally internationally.
